(SBPLI); Kevin Ray, Danielle Voje and Tom Kelly, Advisors, Patchogue-Medford High School robotics team.

In support of the Patchogue-Medford community, Gershow Recycling came to Patchogue-Medford High School on February 3 to donate $2,500 each to the Patchogue-Medford High School robotics team and School-Business Partnerships of Long Island, Inc. (SBPLI). The money went to defray the cost of the Patchogue-Medford High School robotics team constructing and transporting the 130-pound robot to the Long Island FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition on March 25-27 at Hofstra University, sponsored by SBPLI. Gershow's donation is also helping SBPLI pay part of the costs of hosting the competition, with 48 teams participating this year. Both the Patchogue-Medford High School robotics team and SBPLI thanked Gershow for their generous support.
